aaaaaah......done.

After two years in the making, the simple rag quilt that was supposed to be a quick spring project, is done. (Insert deep breath here) YEEEEEEEEHAAAAAAAAA
The squares are sewn, the edges are snipped and it looks like its been here forever already....oh hang on, it has, just in hundreds of pieces. This project is now officialy been striken from my to do list.
I would like to thank my Mum and my Uncle Ank for helping me decide on a completely random but totally mathematical pattern.
My husband and children, for eating dinner off their laps so mummy could use the dining room table to sew.
Marley, you have been so patient. Love you, Princess.
Marley loves it, and here's hoping she still loves it when she's a big girl trying to decide on her own home style.

  1. Love the rag quilt! And the colors you chose - two years may seem like a long time - but its been about 4 years since I started by blanket I started crocheting when I was pregnant with my oldest: two years sounds pretty good to me! :)

  2. Thanks Heidi. Don't you think when you finish a project that seems to take forever it's soooo bittersweet. Good luck with the crochet....don't give up!
